Muldoons 1 take Silver King lead
Division 1
- Ballynafeigh 2 1-4 Ballynafeigh 1
- The A Team 1-4 Muldoons 1
- Strand 2 1.5-3.5 Strand 1
Muldoons 1 are the new Division 1 leaders after a routine win over The A Team. Stephen Morgan, Gareth Annesley and Stephen Wood all secured wins, while David Riley (making his league debut for the home side) and John McKenna did well to draw against significantly higher-rated opposition. The week's other two matches were derbies which both went as expected, although Strand 2's Michael Sheerin (1352) pulled off a whopper of an upset against Mikhail Pavlov (1795).

Division 2
- Muldoons 2 2-3 Strand 3
- Kelly's Heroes 5-0 Fruithill Ravens
- Bangor 4-1 Fruithill
Kelly's Heroes have scored 21 points out of a possible 21 after they swatted aside the Fruithill Ravens. It must be said, though, that their opposition so far all look like being on the Division 3 side of the split next January. The same cannot be said for Bangor, who faced a somewhat sterner test against Fruithill and passed with flying colours as they won 4-1. The North Down club were held to draws on boards 1 and 5, but their superior middle-order strength saw them emerge victorious. This week also saw a shock win for Strand 3 over Muldoons 2, as Martin Donaghy (1370) and Bernard McCaughey (1362) were held to draws by Ciaran Rowan (943) and Adam Rushe (900), while the unrated Michael and James Wong achieved similar results against John Wood and Paddy Maguire respectively. Rhys McLean's win over Ben McBride on board 5 therefore proved decisive.
