Chess at the Ulster Museum
The Ulster Museum re-opens after a major refurbishment on Thursday 22nd October 2009. Exactly a month later on Sunday 22nd November the Ulster Chess Union is organising a rapidplay tournament in the Museum’s Belfast Room.
The Ulster Museum is situated in the Botanic Gardens in the University area and should prove an excellent venue, both in terms of the playing room itself and the general location, with its many local eating establishments.
The tournament will be an open six-round Swiss suitable for players of all range of abilities.
