We have maximum capacity for 20 players so we advise booking and prepaying early to secure a place.
FIDE rules will apply. Phones must be switched off (including any spectators/chess parents). No food allowed in the playing hall.
Check-in opens at 7:15pm and round 1 begins at 7:30pm sharp.
The 6 rounds will be played back-to-back.
We are playing in The Grand Room on the 1st floor. Directions: enter through hotel inner door, turn right, take stairs straight ahead, once on 1st floor, take door on the right, turn left and walk up 4 stairs into The Grand Room.
Deadline to enter: 12 noon on Wednesday 17th April
Early entry fee: £8
Late entry fee: £10 (if space is still available after deadline of 17th April)
Remember, as per FIDE guidelines, each player is meant to be a paid-up member of their National Federation in order to get their games rated. Newcomers can join the Irish Chess Union or Ulster Chess Union.
Players are not permitted to turn up on the night without pre-registering. Players must enter in advance
