Football, Family activities, Live Music, Live Dancing and Chess at EMSONI Festival.
At the invitation of the Founder and Executive Chair of EMSONI Adekanmi Abayomi, LLB (Hons). Also BBC Sports Personality UNSUNG HERO of the Year 2020 for Northern Ireland. We were asked if we could provide chess sets at the annual festival 2024 on Saturday 3rd August.
The football included the finals of a competition that had been running during the year and Nigeria played Somalia to win the cup. Also playing were some junior teams. The event included various sports activities spread across the venue. Including table tennis - provided by Decathalon one of the sponsors of the event. Also attending was the Mayor of Belfast. A new part of the football was a series of womans matches - Street Soccer Womans team, East Timor, Asian Ladies and the Rest of the World competed against each other.

I enjoyed a brilliant festival with football, live music and dancing, good company and meeting and making friends - I also learned some new rules for draughts.
