Greenisland teen chess sensations deliver double simul at Groomsport
26 boards at Bangor Chess Club on Thursday 20th April. We had a very special double simul match with two teenage chess champions from Greenisland Chess Club, Andrew Campbell (scoring 8/11) and Leah Worbey (scoring 9.5/11). On the other end of the hall Bangor B played Fruithill B.
Congratulations to the 6 medal winners and our two simul chess champions - Leah and Andrew, both played to an exceptionally high standard and offered great inspiration to many of the newcomers!
